Daily Routine

Ever since you're gone its all useless to me.
Nothing more to life than the daily routine.
I don't wanna get up, I dont wanna continue.
All the days that go by with nothing achieved.
When you were here I felt so relieved.

You told me you loved me, now I feel betrayed.
All the days you were here have now decayed.

feels as if I'm reliving the same damn thing,
like someone is the puppet master pulling my strings.

When I looked into your eyes I was so sure,
my world was perfect and it was you I adored.

My daily routine, something that will never change.
Thinking of the days that I had with you.
For everything else, I have no clue.

Banging my head against this wall.
I know for sure tommorow my routine is going to call.
Maybe a year from now I will feel a new man
but so far my life has no direction

OH my goodness, so very sad, but so very good! XD

The parts that really struck me were when you mentioned being a puppet, and not being able to break away from the repetition, from the monotony of the situation that is causing you so much pain. Ah, and also when you mentioned the sky not being blue... just, the sort of dullness and lack of color that the world takes on... and what's worse is that you KNOW the world is beautiful and full of brilliant color, you just can't see it, and you don't know how to be able to regain that sight!

Your work is so genuine, my heart goes out to you! But I must say, misery really does lend itself to writing... X3

I wonder though, do you have any music in mind to go with your lyrics (either while you're writing or after)? Or do you work solely with words?

Anyway... another wonderful piece!

Thank you so much for your kind words..^^ I have never gotten someone to comment so long about my pieces. It's really nice. I'm glad you enjoy them! ^^

Yes, misery and emotion do seem to make a piece have something more, doesn't it? And yeah, I work on some music. I've been playing guitar for ten years. =] I have a full thing made for Rain, even a solo with it. I haven't been able to work much on things though, I just got out of the hospital from surgeries..and a really bad cold.
