~DESCRIPTION~

The One Hour Writing Contest is a club on deviantART that organizes a contest in which the host of the contest offers up an original character(s) of their own and the participants write a short story about said character(s) within the span of an hour and then submit it to the host. After a week of submissions, the host then chooses the piece he/she likes the most; the winner is then the new host of the contest and the process begins again.

It's great way to meet new people and sharpen your writing skills at the same time.
